1st Art Project---Footprint
This art project is used as an introductory activity for the classroom. Make sure to use different materials (magazines, markers, tissue paper, etc) to decorate it how you want it! Include pictures/things to describe yourself and your favorite things.
Some of the things I included on my footprint were:
-the Down Syndrome ribbon, made out of tissue paper
-I included real seeds to imitate my love of gardening
-On the toes, I used the initials of my parents and siblings
**An extension activity to follow this one would be asking the class to find a partner and design a hand print of what they want to know about their partner. After the designing is done, they will be able to present the hand prints to each other and get to know each other better!!
